Update, 2:30 PM: A reader from Waukesha, WI writes in with a hypothesis: "As for growing those weird eyebrows, my dad's would look like that if he didn't manicure them. from my unscientific firsthand observation of about 15 family members, people on tv, and random dudes at the beach, i'd say that funky overgrown eyebrows and back hair go hand in hand."
