the wisconsin effect

Last week, a certain professor visited Madison to give (quite engaging) talks in the Law School (Thursday)--meeting such luminaries as Ann--and the Social Psych and Microsociology seminar here in Sociology (Friday). So what does she do when she gets home? She starts blogging!

I for one am thrilled that the horrid letcher, that doughnut man, is gone from this Blog. I always felt he was trying to peek through the computer screen and up my dress. Ewwwwwwww! Helpful In New Hampshire

The credibility of Mr. Freese will not be impeached! My computer, or the Net, did not want to register my post, so I did it again. So there! Mr. Smarty-Pants, that is why there are two of my posts. You are probably one the filthy-minded readers that was secretly applauding that horrid doughnut man. His heavy breathing and leering will not been seen here again!

Pachyderm slays trainer - this just in, up at Ft. Wayne, Ind. - Pierre Spenle was loading the unnamed elephant after a circus show and was trampled/crushed by the beast. It said county police and animal control officers were investigating. Well, what the hell do ask of a 5 ton elephant that has just squished a man?? May we examine your feet? You 'betcha. Circus authorities were quick to rule out foul play on the part of the pachyderm. Well, what else would they say, eh? One can't imagine them advertising a beserk elephant as one of the main attractions - I don't think the soccer Moms of America would be too excited about taking little Sonny and Sissy to the circus if they did. Get a load of these stats: circuses.com tells the world that between 1990 and 2003, captive pachyderms killed 65 people and injured 130.
Mull that one over, folks, and you heard it second here..... The Massabi Ranger
