my heart: somewhere between "broken" and "pulverized" (or, perhaps, "liquefied")
Please don't despair. Now we will get medical malpractice reform( good for pregnant mothers who are having trouble finding an ob-gyn to care for them), we will get more tax relief (you can spend your money more wisely than the government), and yes, the U. S. will continue the vigorous pursuit of those who think God desires them to kidnap innocents and cut their heads off.
I'm very sorry you feel that way. I know it just hurts in the gut for you right now, even though I voted for the candidate that horrifies you. I felt the same way yesterday when I saw the early exit polls online and watched Tradesports Bush contract cratering. You're terrified by the prospect of a warmonger Bush evicerating the bill of rights, and I was terrified by the prospect of displaying weakness to the jackals in North Korea, Iran, and the Sunni triangle.
I hope you decide to stay. You seem to have a good heart, and that matters more than almost anything else. Take care!
Even though Espella and I voted for the same candidate for president yesterday, I think I would like you much better Jeremy.
Espella, please fuck off! Jeremy I'm sorry that some creep like that is behaving like a jackass. This is a time for reaching out, not making divisions worse.
Well, hopefully most Bush supports will enter the 'no gloat zone' pretty quickly. I would have been equally upset had my guy lost.
I worked my butt off, and my state still went 49-51 Kerry. (Although, that's a move toward the red from 2000).
Still, the election is over. We will have to work together on some level. I sincerely hope that the party of oppostion can now move away from Micheal Moore and his ilk. It's time to battle on ideas, not hype.

"This country worships anti-intellectualism so half the people pick someone just like them, below average."
"I can't believe Bushitler and the rethuglicans have stolen another election. Those goddamn fascist pieces of sh**."
"It is a bitter pill to swallow. The people have spoken and they are truely bastards."
... ahhh, drink deep the sweet waters of their envy. BTW, Bush surpassed the all-time popular vote total! What a great day!

Listen to the children of the Left... don't they make sweet music!

Best wishes Jeremy, sincerely.
Is it wrong for me to want to go crawl under the dining room table, wear my tinfoil hat, and absently suck my thumb for the next four years?
