don't spend it all in one place. but, here's how you could...

I have been rewarded for my weight loss by being instructed to eat less. When I started, I was permitted 26 POINTS/day by the OWW system, but now my allowance has been cut to 24 points. How much is 24 points? Ten ways I could spend my daily allowance:
  • 2/3 Monster Thickburger at Hardee's

  • 1 Medium Chocolate Cookie Dough Blizzard at Dairy Queen

  • 1 McDonald's Double Cheeseburger w/ Large Fries

  • 4 pieces of Long John Silver's batter-dipped fish

  • 6 1/4 pounds of carrots

  • 16 1/2 pounds of celery

  • 18 pieces of shrimp tempura roll sushi

  • 24 Chicken McNuggets

  • 80 gallons of Diet Coke

  • 240 plain M&Ms

All of this weight watchers stuff dodges the real question:

Is it possible to eat fifty hardboiled eggs in one sitting?

Is that all there is to it? 240 M&Ms and then a few little hunger pangs for the rest of the day? Sounds like a dare to me - red rover, red rover, we call the dieter Jeremy over.....

Brady: Fifty hardboiled eggs in one sitting would be 100 points! I could use all my daily points and all my weekly flex points for two weeks, and it still wouldn't be enough. Consequently, I'll only do it if you Double Dog Dare me.

I may have missed it, but what exercise program do you have in conjunction with the diet?

80 gallons of diet pepsi...hmm, that sounds like a tummy-ache from hell!

It's 80 gallons of Diet Coke. Diet Pepsi, so far as I can tell, does not register as having any points in any quantity on the WW website.

in that case, you can have the 2/3 Monster Thickburger at Hardee's and wash it down with 80 gallons of diet-pepsi (but diet-pepsi only, apparently diet-coke will undo all your hard work).

Well, then, I'm just gonna violate dare protocol and go all the way to the "Triple Dog Dare".

I mean, if Paul Newman could do it...

Man, I'm scared. They started me at 24. That means that soon enough, I'll be down to 17 sesame seeds and an egg white per day. But first, I'd have to, you know, uh, lose some weight.

Anyway, good job on the 15.

I say go for the 80 gallons of Diet Coke. I'd love to see how buzzed you get from ingesting that much caffeine in one day.

i, for one, would not like to see how buzzed jeremy gets on 80 gallons of diet coke.

then again, that much caffeinated soda would probably mean he would have to live in the bathroom all day, so i guess i wouldn't see him at all.

Congrats on the weight loss. Btw, you looked awesome the other night. Try not to back slide or it's over between the two of us.

dorotha said...

TONYA! don't be mean. jeremy can back slide if he wants to.

jeremy said...

DOROTHA! Don't be an enabler. I'm trying to be resolute here.

Listen, I know what I'm talking about. If you look up back slide in the dictionary, there's a photo of me eating a candy bar, drinking a coca cola, and putting my just-10-pounds-overweight wardrobe back in storage. Tough love is the only way to go.

Jeremy, put the twizzlers down! Now!

eat the malt balls, jeremy! they will make you feel better.

Resorting to weight loss sabotage, eh Dorotha? It figures.

(Dorotha has actually been supportive of Project OWW. She just cops a cranky persona when she comments on this blog.)

Lets see 24 points that makes you weigh between 175 and 199 pounds. Don't know your height but you probably could lose a little more. I could and will.If you wanna eat more then exercise. I'm on my way to work out right now cuz I'm hungry and need more points. When I get done I'll have 5 more points and I can have a real dinner.......see ya!
