welcome! jeremy freese is a professor in sociology at northwestern university. he finds blogging to be a good diversion from insomnia and a far better use of time than television.
In keeping with your social psychological orientation, shouldn't your theorem be given a name with sufficient reverence for history? Perhaps you could call it the Samson Complex.
i actually changed my mind and am back at the keyboard. your faithful readers should not be alarmed that this discredits your theorem, however. since my actions all apparently revolve around my hair and a change in my hair is a reflection of an internal state, taking control change, me hearing that dorotha thinks my hair is seriously cute when i just thought my hair was okay has now produced a need for some kind of inspired action on my part. but, given what inspired this need for inspired action, i can't very well now change my hair once again, so i had to revert to reversing some previous action that was on account of my hair in order to best honor the adjustment i made to my internal sense of my hair. so the kind of stupid "it's the hair" theorem remains intact, but with the added caveat that dorotha is all powerful.

ignoring the part about your theorem. just wanted to say that martine's haircut is seriously cute.
I agree. You would think a woman could seriously blog with sassy hair like that, so I don't know why she's hanging up her keyboard.
