Read over your pre-Cambridge blogs; maybe you can get back all that you arrived here with!

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do in Chicago. Can I bring myself to root for the Cubs?

With how often you'll go by Wrigley Field and how many Cubs caps you'll see in the area, I see you becoming a Cubs fan quite quickly.

Becoming a Cubs fan would be even sadder than being a Red Sox fan.

A Red Sox vs. Cubs World Series matchup sounds pretty appealing to me...

Welcome to Sox nation! Go to as many games as possible before you leave... Imagine how I feel, being a Sox fans and moving to NYC.

If you go to Chicago, don't root for the Cubs. Root for the WHITE SOX!!!

Like Shakha said--welcome to the Nation.

Just be glad it's not 1997.

It would be seriously weird for you to live in Evanston or anywhere in the area and be a White Sox fan. I'm sure such people exist, but they are almost invisible there (yikes, I'm sure I'm offending some people by saying that). In fact, you would have barely known about the success of a Chicago team at the World Series a year and a half ago wandering around that area of Chicagoland.
