NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- If you want to test drive a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord, starting next month you'll be able to do it at a Saturn dealership. General Motors is asking Saturn dealers to have one or more of the competing models in the showroom so customers can look at it, sit in it and drive it.

the really interesting comparison would be to test drive a camry at a saturn dealer and compare it to one at a toyota dealer

This seems like an idea that could work well in places where one owner has multiple dealerships of different types, including Saturn and Toyota, adjacent to each other.
So I assume you can test drive it but not BUY it, right?
This was my first thought, too. It seems like there is an enormous potential for some unethical Saturn dealer to sell more Saturns by tinkering with the competition's fuel intake. Or whatever.
"Gee Mr Saturn Salesman, I'm so happy I had a chance to look at this Camry -- I had no idea that the overhead anthrax dispenser came as standard."
