the secret of the perfect baseball player: invisibility!

From the NYT:
"'You can't be a perfect player,' [outfielder Ichiro] Suzuki said. 'I don't even think you can see a perfect player."

I want to be the perfect Sociologist. Any advice? Struggling in Berkley

The first step toward success at Berkeley is to learn how to spell Berkeley.

Sociology is just sociology.

Anonymous maybe tried to transfer to Berkeley from Berkley the internet school and didn't make it. Maybe he/she felt perfection could only be obtained at Berkeley, CA. Did you note that he/she was not from Madison? I'm sure anonymous was not trying to cast dispersions on the faculty at UW.

I love the idea of casting dispersions. I have done it myself in the past. I believe it is similar to something that is done "for all intensive purposes."

If there's anything more entertaining than making fun of a non-native speaker's language skills, it's making fun of a native speaker's language skills.
