1. If you do a little bit of work on something each day, then eventually it adds up to a lot.
2. If you do no work on something, that doesn't add up to anything.
3. If you do a little bit of work on something different each day, that doesn't really add up to anything either, or at least not anything that ever gets done.

stop beating yourself up about procrastination. we all do it, okay? you are not a bad researcher.
observation 4: if you worry so much, it begins to signficantly interfere with your life. as they said in the 80's, take a chill pill, man. and that's one to grow on.
doing things is over-rated. instead of doing things, why not just take a break and write a bit.
And then sometimes, if you do a little bit of work on something every day, just about the time you're almost finished it turns out that what you were doing is now obsolete and you need to start over.
... you sound lonely.
What on Earth sounds lonely?
Allen: Yes, alas, a good point. And--fetching favicon.
I think that "you sound lonely" comment was possibly a spam message.
So these observations explain why you have quite a blog. Or wait, where is the "if you spend considerable time on something every day it will add up to..." option?;-)
I have word verification turned on, so I thought I was safe from spam.
In any case, I was going to use my blog as exactly an example. It's kind of freaky when I look back at my archives and see how much has accumulated.
Actually, what I meant to say is, YOU sound lonely.
jirccb
Okay, if I'm supposed to know who jirccb is, I can't figure it out. Nor can I figure out the difference between you and YOU.
or is it, "ewe sound lonely"?
No more puns, please. And Jeremy is not a sheep. Or whatever a ewe is.
I don't get the difference between you and YOU (and I don't get ewe at all). I get you-Jeremy, I don't get ewe-Anon.
You know the spam guard over on my blog.. well, despite that, I got spam the other day. Go figure. (But no, those don't usually come back to respond, that's true. Then again, I just deleted the message, you were being too generous.)
Right - in the road race of life, I've decided that I'm the turtle, but if you're a reptile with stamina, you can do almost anything.
