Thank your local troll.

Ugh. Sorry you had to put up with that Jeremy (although I must confess I don't know what "that" was; I'm kinda glad I don't, as I'd most likely be angry). Hopefully the Troll will leave and you can re-instate anonymous comments. Then again, I don't see why they're necessary. How hard is it to get an account?

There are a lot of annoying anon comments on here so I'd rather not have them.

That said, I'm sorry you've had to deal with such crap.

Yes, maybe I'll just keep them off. Remember that since I don't use a sitemeter, comments are the only way I know anybody reads this, so in that respect I liked not inhibiting comments. But, I'm not going to deal with abusive psychos who think they know me much better than they do just because they've read this blog for awhile. Ugh.

Just a quick note to say that reading JFW is much more enjoyable sans trolls.

By the way, whatever happened to the best JFW "anonymous" poster ever: Lonely Donut Man? I miss him.

LDM turned out to be a civil servant from Kentucky. He also posted on soc blogs sometimes under the name Goesh. He may still post sometimes on Ann Althouse's blog.
