welcome! jeremy freese is a professor in sociology at northwestern university. he finds blogging to be a good diversion from insomnia and a far better use of time than television.
I'm with you on this one. Katie Couric has squicked me out since day 1, for many reasons, now including her freakish dedication to tanning. I can't believe I saw the inside of her colon.
You've seen MY picture, she really doesn't look THAT bad does she?
CC: It's less that I think she looks unattractive than that I think she looks unreal.Ang: I take that you are not among the contingent around here who does not believe that the US actually landed on the moon. Because it would be strange for a person to believe the moon landing was staged but that it was really the inside of her colon shown to America.
You are correct in that I don't believe the moon landing was a hoax, although I admit things like that never occur to me. I never thought for a second that it wasn't thr True Couric Colon I was witnessing on my screen.CC: I also was not commenting about her being ugly, just really weird looking to me. She always has been, to me.
i think she's kinda cute
i think if anyone from this country actually landed on the moon (yes, eventually they did, just not when they said they did) they brought Katie back with them. :)
Why do people always pick on supremely successful women and especially on their physical appearance?
Anonymous, clearly you haven't heard my diatribe on Conan O'Brien. You do have a point, though I wouldn't characterize Jeremy or myself as being particularly hard on women in terms of their looks in a general sense.
Why, why, why? do you care?
I agree she does look a bit........but, for someone my age, pretty good, eh?
I love Katie. Lay off. She works hard. But if you want to see something not quite human, check this out and remember...these are not dolls. http://angelswithattitude.faithweb.com/photo.html
